Administration Officer COVID19
Providing daily and weekly reports to senior officers and council members
Managing staff absences and weekly timesheets
Developing and facilitating training for 40+ staff
Supporting senior staff by taking minutes in meetings and diary management
Working interdepartmentally within the council to set up new testing sites, manage logistics of open sites, and decommission closed sites
Maintaining stock supplies of PPE, test kits, site resources and procuring equipment for outreach projects
Implementing procedures/projects in line with changing COVID-19 policy e.g., Designed and rolled out home test-kit model across all sites
Writing standard operating procedures and managing risk assessments for new locations both on the street and on-site
Supporting strategic planning borough wide
Working closely with COVID-19 Comms Manager to create targeted informational material
Coordinating surge testing projects within short deadlines to prevent further spread of Variants of Concern
Coordinating outreach work, specifically aimed at increasing uptake in testing and vaccines amongst vulnerable groups and in low uptake areas e.g., organising pop-up events, researching high footfall areas
Engaging with key stakeholders such as, public health officials, NHS CCG, schools, local community groups and customers
Creating close relationships with the community and voluntary sector to ensure equal access to testing and vaccine information for all
Working closely with Head of Testing to ensure operations are carried out safely and efficiently
