To develop and manage the operational activity of the new framework to address exploitation and missing process – To manage and develop Service/framework in an efficient and effective manner to achieve the and outcomes, key tasks and performance targets
To oversee the Exploitation and Missing that includes social work function, to liaise closely with the edge of care and specialist exploitation team (Think safe)
To chair and be a voting member on the NRM national devolved panel.
Work closely with the community partnership team and serious organised violence team
To represent and promote the service in relevant multi agency meetings and develop good working relationships with partners

Experience / Knowledge
Experience of the leadership and management of staff

Experience of working in a children’s services setting as a first line manager/senior practitioner

Managing or contributing to managing a budget

Managing Health and Safety

Service planning, development and evaluation

Experience of working in partnership with other agencies, service users and carers

Skills and Abilities
High level of supervision and appraisal skills

Excellent communication skills both written and oral

Understanding of performance management principles and the ability to implement, in terms of service monitoring, evaluation and target setting

Able to use service data and other information to contribute to service commissioning

Able to manage competing priorities whilst setting high practice standards

Able to manage budgets in the context of open-ended legal duties
Able to chair effectively, a range of meetings

Comprehensive understanding of all legislation, strategic frameworks, technical matters and standards of practice relevant to the area of work

Knowledge of best practice

Competent IT user and a commitment to technology based solutions to service delivery problems

Ability to manage human resources to support workforce development and the smooth running of the service

Ability to effectively manage change and promote service development

Ability to create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement for service users
