 The current role is for an experienced  social worker who will work within the Complex Safeguarding Team. This team is a small specialist team supporting children at risk of child exploitation. The right social worker will have experience of working with children and young people supporting their care plan to reduce risk , and undertake specialist assessment, and interventions to reduce the associated risks for this group of young people.  They will be responsible for a small caseload working alongside the allocated social worker , so could be working with children we look after, children subject to CIN or CP.  You will be working closely with the police within the team and  focusing on prevention, management of risk and disruption. You will be supported by the Complex Safeguarding Lead.
