PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING: Assignment for an experienced community safety practitioner to provide day to day line management support to the Community Safety Team due to the current Team Leader acting up. The team supports Anti- Social Behaviour issues, community tensions, hate crime and community safety CCTV.
DUTIES:
• Direct line team management of 2 people but will also be a point of advice and guidance to a wider team of 10 people.
• Subject matter expert for advice and guidance and advising both the team and stakeholders on case appropriate actions.
• Performance monitoring and chasing progress reports.
• Liaising with external and voluntary sector partners on a day-day basis.
• Monitoring contracts for street marshalls and violence reduction.
• You may also be asked to support the community engagement and grants functions of the team but the priority will be the community safety aspects.
EXPERIENCE:
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced in managing Anti-social behaviour issues, community tensions, hate crime and community safety CCTV.
• Must be an experienced line manager and excellent supervisor and able to help the team through a busy work load.
This post is to commence as soon as possible and is for six months.
