Under the direction of a qualified midwife, the post holder will provide postnatal support to vulnerable women and their families in the community via Flying Start and outreach support.
The role is a mix of working from home and office based working, with the expectation of visits in the community for 1:1 home based sessions.
Access to transport is essential to enable travel throughout the county.
The role is 37 hours per week
Hourly rate can increase to a maximum of £13.21per hour, however this is dependent on experience and qualification and would need to be discussed and agreed prior to recruitment.
Candidate must hold a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, NNEB, or equivalent relevant qualification as a minimum, with experience of working with pregnant parents and new born babies.
DBS – enhanced covering both adult/child barred lists.
