Role Purpose
- To provide programme and business support to help deliver Haringey’s Local COVID-19 Outbreak Management Plan
- To prevent and suppress local outbreaks of COVID-19
- To have a planned owned by local partners and communities
- To engage and involve local communities
- To provide local infrastructure and oversight on outbreak prevention to link into national programmes
- Directly providing business administration support to senior managers in public health
- Providing skilled project management of the public health contributions to the Councils Borough Plan, Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) and north central London (NCL) Sustainability & Transformation Partnership (STP), plus other small ad hoc projects
- The postholder will provide support to the Director of Public Health and wider partners to co-ordinate delivery of the programme of work
Main responsibilities:
⦁ Providing an overall programme plan and help to set up the governance structures
⦁ Co-ordinating and organising programme boards and meetings
⦁ Keeping records of key meetings and following up actions with partners
⦁ Providing summary updates to senior managers and partners
⦁ Co-ordinating the production of key documents including the Outbreak Management Plan
- Providing an overall programme plan and help to set up the governance structures for the
⦁ delivery and oversight of local outbreak management plan
⦁ ensures appropriate partner involvement
⦁ Oversight of funds
⦁ Data and reporting to Haringey COVID member led engagement board and GOLD
⦁ Provide programme and business support to COVID – 19 LOMP
⦁ Co-ordinating Programme boards and meetings
⦁ Summary updates to senior managers and partners
⦁ Managing data reporting to DPH
⦁ Managing overall PPE stock
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Knowledge and skills in programme management tools i.e. spread sheets, progress mapping.
- Skills in delivery of information regarding programmes i.e. giving presentation, providing reports
- Knowledge and experience of using IT project management tools.
- Knowledge of change management processes i.e. why people resist change and how to overcome this
- Skills in communication which activate delivery by others i.e. getting programme updates from officers
- Experience of programme management involving multiple stake holder’s
- Understanding and commitment to promoting and implementing the Council’s Equal Opportunities policies.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and data protection
- Experience of management of administration staff
