This is a fantastic opportunity for an Operative to join the newly formed Response Team in Environmental Services who have a focus on estate drainage, internal blockages to resident properties and communal cleaning improvements, ensuring that the Response Team provides a high quality service, delivering cleaner, safer, well maintained estates and excellent customer focussed services.
You will also be liaising directly with residents and contractors and answering queries with due regard to health and safety issues at all times.

What you’ll offer us:

• Experience of clearing blockages in Council Tenant’s W.C’s, baths, sinks, and kitchen sinks and in both associated runs and stacks on Council Estates
• Experience of using equipment and vehicles as appropriate to the task in hand.
• Experience of delivering excellent service to customers.
• Experience of delivering cleaning work programmes and associated caretaking and improvement works

It is an essential requirement that you have a good standard of literacy as good communication, both written and verbal, is a key feature of the role. You must also hold a full UK driving license. Relevant mandatory and on the job training will be provided as well as training to support your ongoing development.
