Location: Based at County Hall North. Must be able to drive to fulfil the role requirements.
Working Arrangement’s : Mix of home working and office/home visits once induction completed. Monday – Friday ideally 8am – 5.30pm. Full time and Part time considered: At least 3 days to be worked during the week.
Experience in moving and handling and adaptations but must have experience in one of these areas
£35 – £38 per hour, dependent on experience

Required experience and skills Key Skills:

1. Ability to apply a risk enablement approach and use evidence-based practice.
2. Ability to complete a strengths-based assessment (as directed by the Care Act 2014).
3. Ability to develop a person-centred care and support plan with clearly defined outcomes.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in order to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders to provide clear advice and guidance and clinical interventions in complex cases, including the ability to use a variety of information technologies.
5. Excellent supervision, coaching and mentoring skills.
6. Ability to prioritise and organise work and meet agreed performance expectations.

Qualifications and/or experience:
• Diploma /BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent Occupational Therapy qualification.
• Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Relevant post-qualifying experience of clinical functional assessments, intervention planning, implementation and review, with examples of applying Occupational Therapy practice to complex issues.
• Experience of supervising staff.
• Experience of inter-agency and multi-disciplinary work to support collaborative working relationships.
• Sound and accurate IT knowledge to ensure effective record keeping, respecting confidentiality.
