Role Purpose
The post holder will be the main source of expertise on the Parking IT Management System, and other bespoke service specific IT systems and will be responsible for coordinating and supporting developments / enhancements to service delivery through sophisticated technology and their integrations with other relevant IT systems.

Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Experience

⦁ Extensive experience in the use of IT systems and understanding the role that they play in delivering high volumes services, preferably transport related.
⦁ Experience of delivering or supporting the delivery of new service developments, through IT upgrades or enhancements.
⦁ Experience of acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources, maintaining databases/data systems for the purpose of service intelligence, as well as statistical presentation.
⦁ Experience in gathering and interpreting data, presenting results in a clear and concise manner.

Knowledge / skills

⦁ Extensive knowledge of parking legislation and operational requirements.
⦁ Excellent verbal and written communications.
⦁ Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

Abilities
The ability to develop string relationships with all stakeholders and negotiate co-operation and support from all to achieve service objectives
