Seeking an Enterprise architect who will be responsible for the overall coordination and design of the required technology.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Enterprise architect to join Haringey Council’s. Digital is at the heart of the Council and these are both exciting and challenging times as the Council embarks on a journey of change.
You will lead in the creation a centre of excellence to support the delivery of the technology, application; data and digital roadmap; geared towards the business readiness plans. You will oversee and monitor business cases to help ensure planned business benefits are realised and aligned to the overall Council Architecture.
Joining a team of dedicated professionals passionate about their roles on transforming the council. Ideally, you will also have worked with formal procurement processes and supplier selection. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to be able to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and perspectives in different business contexts. You will be adept at managing Project Sponsors to ensure business functions are prepared for business as well as technical change. You should be expert in digital transformation, project management with a strong understanding of user experience with leading customer
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The post holder will be expected to perform at SFIA Level 5 / 6 (‘ensure and advise’ / ‘initiate and influence’).
Qualifications
Ideally educated to bachelor degree level and holds a relevant professional qualification
TOGAF Certified Architect; ITIL v3 Service Management Practitioner certified; UK Security Cleared SC (current); Risk Management Certified; Microsoft professional; Programme Management Certified; PRINCES2, Agile, Lean Certified, CISSP Certified

Technical Experience / Skills / Knowledge
Has in-depth commercial and Supplier technical expertise in a range of Technologies.
Expert in understanding the business environment of the organisation and closely associated organisations and the organisation’s technical platforms.
Expert in understanding the functional structure of businesses and other organisations; their mission, objectives, strategies and critical success factors. Knowledge and understanding of organisational culture.
Expert in understanding the IT / IS infrastructure and the IT applications and service processes used within the organisation.
Expert in the technologies, frameworks and principles on which networks, systems, equipment, infrastructure resources, externally hosted services and ‘cloud’ services are based.
Proficient in applying methods and techniques for preparing and presenting business cases, requests for proposal (RFP) invitations to tender (ITT) and statements of requirements / work both orally and in writing.
