The Council is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the thinking and design of the Councils Data Centre provision.
We will require an experienced specialist infrastructure technologies to assist in design and deployment to a Green Field site to support our current Active/Passive Data Centres.
The person will collaboratively research, design & deliver a resilient and future proofed operational solution for a core Data Centre relocation.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience of moving from traditional on-prem data centre to hybrid cloud
Experience of moving from traditional data centre hardware to a Hyperconverged environment.
Extensive experience in design architecture.
Extensive knowledge and experience working with operating systems and cloud technologies.
