Job Purpose

Principal Accountabilities

  1. MAJOR PURPOSE OF POST :To support the remit and function of the inclusion team which includes LA responsibilities of and for: the Education Welfare Service (EWS), Out of school tuition (OOST), Child employment licensing and Elective Home Education (EHE).
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To process child employment applications, chaperone and child performance licenses in accordance with legislation

• To maintain accurate databases of children who are EHE, missing in education (CME) and those open to EWS and with Child employment licenses.
• To maintain data systems and processes and extrapolate exclusion, attendance, licensing, restraint and training data for the Inclusion Manager and Social, Emotional, Mental Health Panel (SEMHP) as needed.
• To work under the direction of the Inclusion Manager, liaising with members of the Inclusion team to consider future developments
• To provide administrative support for the team and other service areas
• To provide emergency or holiday cover for appropriate administrative support for other service areas:
