Information Officer
Based within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will be part of the single ‘front door’ for Children and Families Services, supporting the provision of an effective safeguarding response to professionals and members of the public who are concerned about a child’s welfare and/or requesting services to meet identified needs.

Essential Skills
Good understanding of data management, including collection and processing.
Relevant theoretical or organisational knowledge of systems, procedures and policies associated with operating an administrative service.
Good knowledge of a wide and varied range of ICT software.
Experience of working within administrative office systems/practices and providing effective flexible administrative support to various service areas.
Demonstrable evidence of organising and handling data sets, of turning data into information and providing administrative output i.e. Word, Excel etc.
Ability to take electronic notes in meetings.
Good at organising day to day workload in order to follow/meet a given brief.
Experience and confidence in dealing with people and the ability to establish credibility at all levels of the organisation.

PURPOSE:
Service Support staff underpin service delivery by providing effective customer focussed administrative support. This includes arranging meetings and panels, minute taking, basic financial transactions and monitoring, maintaining databases / data entry, acting as the link between customer access channels and the delivery of services through the scheduling of requests for service, elements of interaction with customers, stakeholders, partners and members, and other general administrative functions.
This role also includes the shared day to day operation systems administration on the service side for Waste, Highway Operations, Passenger Transport, Street Cleansing andGrounds Maintenance IT Systems together with the in-field technology.
The post holder will provide effective, efficient and customer focussed support services to designated Service Teams and Service Managers ensuring compliance with procedures and practices to support the delivery efficient front line services. The post holder will also provide support to the Team as required.
Qualifications:
NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification, skills and experience.
Relevant Experience:
Experience of working in an office / administration environment
Experience of the service area and services provided within which this post will be providing support services.
Experience of delivering services ensuring excellent customer experiences.
