About the job
To work as an Occupational Therapist dealing with complex cases of vulnerable / at risk children with a disability. Under the direction of the Team manager provide advice, guidance and assistance to team members and other professionals, to support best practice in professional Occupational Therapy services provided by the Team.

About you
We are looking for someone who has experience in a field of physical disability and experience of coaching and mentoring including practice teaching.
The ideal candidate will need to have a high level of competence in occupational therapy practice and be able to manage cases in line with national quality standards and best practice.
You’ll need good commitment to delivering a quality service within a team and have excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills.
You’ll need to make and act upon sound professional judgements and work to complex and conflicting demands. We need a strong negotiator who can influence others and be able to research and initiate change and development.
You will have the opportunity to develop on your already existing knowledge of current legislation, national guidance, best practice and social care needs.

We do ask that you have a diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy and Health Professions Council registration.
This is a public facing role so you’ll need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing English.
