PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Nations Recruitment is looking for an needs enthusiastic and highly motivated experience Food Hygiene Officer for one of our client in Luton

You must be self-motivated, and have the ability to work under your own initiative. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be a great team player.
We need Food Safety Officers who are Food Standards qualified and comfortable managing their own schedule and happy to travel around the area to inspect a range of premises.
We operate to a ‘standard’ spec of full food hygiene and standards inspection, complete report, issue Food Hygiene Rating Score. Associated admin and data input is handled inhouse.
You will be carrying out food hygiene and food standards inspections, reactive and proactive Health and Safety Enforcement, Infections Disease Controls and complaint investigations. You must therefore be experienced in carrying out food hygiene inspections and investigations, including the preparation of reports for formal action and the service of statutory notices.

Qualification:
You will have a degree or diploma in Environmental Health or a Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection and will be EHRB/ERB registered. Food Competent as defined by the FSA Code of Practice (inc Seizure and Food Standards). Evidence of your competency – CPD record / Qualifications / Competency Assessment document
