The post holder will be occupationally competent and suitably qualified.
They will be part of a team who is responsible for the delivery of Business Administration and Customer Service apprenticeship standards. The successful candidate will oversee the development of schemes of work, lesson plans and resources managing a caseload of learners. The post holder will also work closely with the existing training team, participating in standardisation meetings and peer observations of teaching, learning and assessment.
They will support their learners individually providing ongoing assessment and carrying out learner reviews. The post holder will engage with employers to maintain and develop relationships. They will assist in the recruitment, induction, support, assessment and training of learners, as required and ensure that appropriate Information, Advice and Guidance is provided for all. They will also ensure that their learners are well prepared, confident and ready to undertake End Point Assessment in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Level 3 A1/CAVA/TAQA Award (Essential) and Certificate in Education & Training or equivalent (Essential)
Level 4 IQA/V1 (Desirable), Information Advice & Guidance – Level 4 (Desirable)
Careers Advice & Guidance – Level 6 (Desirable)
Skills and experience
Proven experience delivering and assessing Business Administration and Customer Service Standards
An experienced apprenticeship assessor trainer with Project Management experience and evidential occupational competence (Desirable).
Proven experience and track record of supporting apprentices through End Point Assessment.
Experience assessing and delivering other apprenticeship frameworks and/or standards including Management, Business Administration and Customer Service.
A good knowledge of Apprenticeship standards and related external body requirements.
The ability to develop and enhance programme content and delivery methods that meet the requirements of the apprenticeship standard.
A general understanding of Apprenticeship funding rules, requirements and compliance.
Experience with Ofsted inspections of Further Education & Skills.
Able to evidence Continuous Professional Development.
An excellent knowledge of British Values, Prevent, Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding.

Experience managing a large caseload of apprentices, assessing and training cohorts of up to 20 learners.
Able to work collaboratively with the Manager, Internal Quality Assurer and EPAO to report on learner progress and the quality of the provision.
