Your Team :
The Services deliver a wide range of high cost, high profile, statutory services to residents. These include Highways Maintenance and Management, Waste Collection, Street Cleansing, HWRCs, Waste Disposal, Grounds Maintenance, Pest & Dog Control and two closed landfill sites. The service also includes delivery the Council’s Sustainability Plan.

• Town & Parish Councils
• Environmental Services Contractors
• MPs, Government officials, senior civil servants, senior personnel from local councils and partner organisations
Your Role :
Provide support to the Assistant Director and the Highways and Environment Management Team including diary management, organising meetings and overseeing emails.
• Log, acknowledge, respond and monitor correspondence and enquiries for example from MP’s, Councilors, customers, FOI’s and complaints.
• Coordinate and respond to internal inquiries for information about the service area.
Health & Safety :
• Visual display – regular use.
• Working alone.
• Risk of verbal abuse.
Work Pattern :
Standard Monday to Friday with flexibility subject to business needs.
Work related travel :
Limited.
