****Performance Manager Children’s Social Care & Education ****

MAIN PURPOSE:

1. To develop and deliver a comprehensive business intelligence function to inform
   strategic and operational planning and key decision making.
2. To ensure strategic performance management information relating to key statutory
   services including Adult and Children’s Social Care, Housing and Education
   management oversight is comprehensive and robust leading to continuous
   improvement
3. To lead on the provision of high quality performance information to, front line
   managers through to governance bodies to support the embedding of a
   performance culture and the continuous improvement of services.
4. To lead on collaborative work with partner agencies to maximise the intelligence
   available for planning and performance management purposes. Including
   developing multi-agency data sharing hubs and protocols
5. To lead on the delivery, and ensure the quality, of all relevant statutory returns to
   government and the provision of data and information required by external
   regulators.
6. To lead on working with external agencies including national government, local
   commissioners and providers to ensure the best possible business intelligence is
   sourced and understood by decision makers
