Nurse/Team Lead (Covid Testing Centres)

Job Title : Nurse/Team Lead (Covid Testing Centres).
Job Category : Public Health.
Location : Lambeth Civic Centre, London Borough of Lambeth.
Salary: £25.00.

There isn’t strictly a requirement for these staff to be qualified nurses however we feel that having qualified nurses would be beneficial particularly relating to their role in inducting, observing and signing off competency of testing operatives and results recording staff, ongoing assurance and quality monitoring of staff.

To undertake team leader role
To ensure staff are fully competent to carry out roles within the testing site – this will include inducting, observing and signing off competency of testing operatives and results recording staff, ongoing assurance and quality monitoring of staff
To ensure adherence to infection prevention and control measures, this will include carrying out training and signing off competency of centre staff on handwashing and donning and doffing PPE and ensuring staff comply with the site’s infection control and prevention guidance.
To cover other duties as required – this will include carrying out test operative duties if required e.g. in event of sickness etc.
To provide other clinical advice as required
To input and participate in quality assurance programme
To work closely with the site manager to ensure issues are logged and lessons learnt to inform ongoing improvements within the service.
