We are looking to recruit a part time Resourcing Officer, to work alongside the Agency Contract Manager and existing Resourcing Officer. The role is based at County Hall, Chichester and the person will be required to attend the Chichester office once per week with the rest of the team.
The role will involve general recruitment Admin tasks – such as ensuring business critical roles are filled quickly with the right candidate, raising purchase orders, arranging and confirming interviews with agencies and WSCC hiring managers, and responding to general queries.
The person will be required for 22 hours per week, to be worked over 5 days (start and finish times are negotiable) – the role may become full time and the candidate should be open to that. The role will suit an organised and efficient administrator, who is comfortable using MS Office and has prior experience in a customer-facing role. Recruitment experience and understanding of AWR legislation would be an advantage but not essential.

You will be responsible for identifying any deficiencies in crewing and resourcing those deficiencies to ensure the Service maintains the required crewing levels. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the Incident Command Officer rota is covered appropriately.

The Community Hub has been designed to provide a function that helps to keep
