We are looking for a enthusiastic, self motivated and experienced Social Worker or Probation Officer to join the our Youth Justice Service.
You will have an understanding of the criminal justice system as it affects children and young people (aged 10 –17) who offend; a practical understanding of the principles of restorative justice and restorative approaches, have experience of working with disaffected children and young people and able to evidence building positive relationships with young people.
You will have experience of undertaking assessments and managing complex cases, in addition to planning appropriate and targeted interventions to reduce the risk of offending/re-offending. You will also have the ability to write high quality reports including preparing sentencing proposals and will present information to the Courts when required.
Education & Training
In possession of recognised professional Social Work or Probation Qualification

This is an office based role – working from the Civic Centre in Uxbridge.
Corporate Collections/Adult Social Care are responsible for billing and recovery of Adult Social Care charges totalling 11 million per annum. The service has been heavily affected by COVID-19 seeing an increase in death notifications, increased numbers of chargeable clients and the total debt figure increased month by month. Role Purpose

Working in close collaboration with the whole web team, the role-holder will lead on the design and implementation of solutions based on the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically around App Portals. They will help drive, inform and implement technological solutions taking ideas and/or designs to development into production.
Following agile development practices, the role-holder will work collaboratively across the wider Learning & Information Services team.
To deliver a Dynamics 365 solution for the processing of University applications, both direct and UCAS students, home and International. In addition the creation of Portals for the applicants to apply and track their application and an Agent portal for those international applicants who have agents act on their behalf.
A developer is required for the development of solutions using power app portals. The candidate will ideally have experience across the power platform and dynamics CRM. They should have experience in taking user requirements and translating to a full solution on the power app portal platform.
The candidate should have knowledge of (languages) as well as working in a pan agile development environment. Core Skills required, – Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform – MS PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI required – Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 including the Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem – Experience in higher education preferred particularly experience in the area of admissions and recruitment – Strong business analysis and functional understanding, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users The service will be provided in line with the details in this work order, any additional information provided as part of the procurement process and the proposal submitted by the supplier.
Work Experience
Extensive experience of development, configuration, and maintenance of PowerApps (Microsoft) portals, Power Automate and Modal driven apps.
Development of portals integrated with Dynamics 365
Experience of development in Dynamics Plugins, Workflows and JavaScript libraries development.
Experience of working within an agile software development environment and relevant tooling such as Azure DevOps, Kanban Boards and so on.

Reablement is short support term, which helps clients to become as independent
as is possible, by giving them the opportunity, motivation and confidence to
relearn or regain some of the skills for daily living that may have been lost as a result
of illness, accident or disability.
The purpose of the job is to:
• Provide a short, intensive reablement service for people with disabilities and
those who are frail and recovering from illness or injury, focusing on helping
people to restore their optimum level of independence.
• Motivate individuals and supporting them to build confidence through
identifying their goals and providing positive feedback about their progress and
achievements.
• Work with the reablement Occupational Therapist, to help deliver an
agreed reablement plan, to help Service Users identify and achieve their goals
relating to a range of social care tasks such as washing and dressing,
showering, meal preparation and helping people engage in community
activities.
• Provide support to adults to develop and maintain activities of daily living.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1 To support service users in a structured and consistent way to undertake a
range of social care tasks such as washing, dressing/undressing, showering
and bathing, meal preparation, domestic activities, engaging in community
activities, working to a graded programme to help optimise their level of
ability and independence.
2 To deliver agreed individual reablement programmes (with guidance and
instruction from the therapists and managers) which includes tasks such as
identifying suitable assistive technology equipment and demonstrating the
safe use of such equipment, advising on strategies for managing fatigue and
pain, preventing falls, using adaptive techniques e.g. one handed or seated
activities. In the delivery of all support, ongoing risk assessment to ensure
service user and worker safety is prioritised.
3 To use supportive and motivational approaches to help service users identify
and achieve their goals and build confidence, ensuring the delivery of a
quality service.
4 To work with health colleagues to deliver an integrated service where this
has been identified as beneficial to the person.
5 To provide written case notes of the person’s circumstances, whether
improvement or deterioration, to help with the progression and review of the
reablement programme.
6 To respond to any emergency situations, by taking the appropriate action e.g.
contacting a doctor or the ambulance service etc.
7 To liaise closely with senior support workers, Reablement Team Leader and First Response Team Manager promptly informing them of any circumstance that requires an immediate response.
8 To attend Supervision, Team Meetings and Training as instructed to maintain high standards and compliance with regulations and Council strategies. This will include e-learning courses, attending venues outside of the service, attendance on non-working days and at times undertaking training in personal time.
9 To maintain a high standard of administrative procedures by adhering to
systems, completing accurate and comprehensive recording / documentation
that evidences delivery of a reablement care and support service.
10 To identify, record and report all incidents / accidents, potential safeguarding
and any other high-risk situations where a Service User’s safety may be at

- A qualified Trading Standards professional is required to join this small team, carrying out triage of referrals and notifications received from Citizens Advice, provide advice, carry out investigations, manage cases through to prosecution and appeal as required. Face to face visits and also support for wider operations (e.g. Covid) is required. Test purchasing operations experience with follow up case management would be welcome. Please note that general enforcement or regulatory experience is not sufficient to carry out the full duties of this role.

Qualification
