To undertake under specific or general direction of the Person in Charge, domestic duties concerned with the operation of the establishment, to the overall well-being of the clients / residents by maintaining a satisfactory Home Environment.

DUTIES

To promote the principles of care

To undertake general domestic duties, this will include the cleaning of internal glass windows and doors, floors and carpets, bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, wall surfaces, furnishings and furniture. This may involve the cleaning up of spillages and bodily fluids

To undertake laundry duties. This will include the washing, drying, ironing and folding of clothes and linen and involve the occasional basic mending of items of clothing/linen

To use materials and equipment in accordance with instructions and adhere to relevant guidance and procedures, this will include infection control procedures and Health and Safety and COSHH guidance

To assist in the distribution/transportation and serving of meals, drinks and snacks as required, this may include the transporting of a meals or drinks trolley

To communicate any concerns about residents, the fabric of the home or the need to order cleaning supplies to relevant team members

To provide general assistance during and following mealtimes, this will include duties such as laying and clearing dining tables

To clean communal areas where food and drinks are prepared and served and assist in washing items of crockery and cutlery as required

To work cooperatively with management and colleagues and participate in the induction and mentoring of newly employed, relief or agency staff as may be required from time to time

To attend and participate in supervision

To attend team meetings and training/developmental opportunities outside of Rota hours as may be required from time to time

The Systems and Data Analyst will focus on providing system support, system development and quality

As Team Manager you will lead, motivate, nurture, and manage a team (social workers and unqualified staff) to deliver a children’s social care service on a day to day basis. DUTY WEEKS
The candidate would be expected to be onsite for duty weeks. Duty weeks are on a rota and currently are one and a half weeks in every three weeks ( one full week and then three days on a separate week).
LOCATION
County Hall North is in Horsham, a lovely town very close to the main shopping centre. It has some onsite parking, very close to the train station and a beautiful park. It also has a large open space with a canteen that serves light bites, teas and coffees.

Qualifications and experience:
A recognised Social Work qualification e.g. Degree in Social Work, Post Graduate Certificate in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent as recognised by the relevant professional body.
A recognised post qualifying award in Social Work or demonstrable evidence of continuous professional development at a similar level.
Registration with the relevant professional registration body and maintaining registration with that body.
Demonstrable experience of delivering or co-ordinating a quality customer focused service to others.
Experience in dealing with significant issues, for example management of complex child protection matters, staff under performance, managing resources to address team performance priorities through allocation of limited resources.
Experience of managing/leading staff.
Expert relevant experience in specialist area, including sound relevant operational experience in social work, ideally working as a senior practitioner or small team leader/supervisor.

Experience of supporting initiatives in a political environment.

We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join Community Vision Nursery in Penge. This post will be working 36 hours per week, for 38 weeks of the year (Full time /Term Time). Initially 6 month contract.

Applicants with a full and recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years would be preferred. However, consideration will also be given to applicants who have a valid Early Years level 2 qualification and are willing to work towards a level 3.

Community Vision Nursery registered in 2006 and can offer 56 places to children aged between 3 months to 5 years Community vision is open from 8am to 6pm on Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year. The nursery has good transport links and parking is available on the side streets The nursery receives funding for free early education for two-, three- and four-year-old children. The nursery supports children who have SEN and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language. The nursery consists of 4 large play rooms and is set over 4 rooms, 2 large outdoor areas for the children to explore outside.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

KNOWLEDGE of

Child in need and child protection team
To contribute to the creation, implementation and review of individual care plans for children, young people and their families to meet their assessed need.

Act as key worker to a number of children and families, working in partnership with them and any other relevant persons to identify needs and co-ordinate/implement the individual care plans.

Devise, monitor and review individual care plans to the standards identified in the service specification.

Ensure that the personal care needs of the children and young people are met.
Liaise and communicate with other agencies, parents and professional staff so that appropriate resources may be identified and mobilised for the benefit of children, young people and their families.

Maintain effective record systems to enable the preparation of necessary reports to contribute to the care planning process.

Participate in the corporate administration of the service both within the Team/Centre and in the community.

Where appropriate, participate as a working supervisor of lower graded staff, to ensure the effective and efficient organisation of the service.

Be aware of and comply with the statutory requirements, group policies, equal opportunities and other regulations and procedures.

Identify problems and service deficiencies by the continuous review of the service user needs, by this and make recommendations for improvement so as to contribute to the achievement of the overall service objectives.

To be available to work out of hours to meet the demands of the service.

To contribute to the development of equal opportunities practices within the Team.

We will be paying £15.60 P/H, as per the NJC grade rate.
Whilst the role sits within the pensions team, our priority is to find someone with the following skills: • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written form • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and proactively solve problems • Logical, systematic approach to tasks • Self-directed and ability to manage own work priorities and workload (including remote / virtual working) • Collaborative approach to work and quick to develop strong relationships • Attention to detail I have attached the Role Profile for the role. Knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme, Teachers Pension Scheme, Firefighters Pension Scheme and / or National Health Service Scheme is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing key processes for the team such as admitting new employers to join the Scheme, managing interactions during their participation in the Scheme and assisting in the recording and management or risks. The role will work closely with third parties – including the County Council’s legal services team, members of the Hampshire Pensions team and the Fund Actuary (Hymans Robertson).
In terms of the team, there are 9 members of the team (including this position). It is expected that there will be a mix of working from home and in the office. Initial training will be office based.
Level of Knowledge
Relevant advanced knowledge of Public Sector pensions legislation and/or Pensions policies and practices, together with detailed knowledge relating to the Pensions Regulator’s code of conduct.

General knowledge of the wider supporting Pension legislation for example but not limited to, The Finance Act, The Pensions Act and the Public Service Pensions Act

Qualifications and Professional Membership
Post Graduate Diploma in a relevant subject matter of equivalent knowledge and experience, for example, Pensions Management Institute (DipPMI) and Development and/or institute of Payroll and Pensions Management (IPPM).

Evidence of continuous professional development.

Experience
Demonstrable evidence of providing customer focused, timely, sound and accurate advice and guidance direct to managers and working through complex problems, related to the subject area, such as in relation to pension discretion/employer pensions policy and in relation to complex LGPS fund admission arrangements.

Demonstrable experience of identifying and exploring risks and developing options for addressing risks and working with customers to overs the implementation of appropriate actions.

Demonstrable evidence of the ability to develop plans for delivery of complex, multi-faceted change including the identification and development of process update and implementation.

Demonstrable evidence of having researched and resolved discrete service delivery or people issues and contributed to the development of innovative solutions or practices.

Proven ability to advise on the development of business cases and options appraisals, challenging and provoking original and new thinking, where appropriate, along with the ability to compose and produce succinct written business reports for a range of purposes such as researching and proposing a course of action.

Demonstrable evidence of ability to analyse and interpret a range of pensions information, making appropriate recommendations for action.
