The OD Support Officer is responsible for a number of the support functions in the Organisational Development team. The role will work with the OD Business Partner to manage a wide range of OD projects, including the ASYE programme, Health and Wellbeing offer, Workforce Surveys and the OD support packages (for example coaching, mentoring and talent development)
This role is pivotal in making sure all OD activities events are managed in a timely and efficient way and they support AfCs drive to have a highly skilled workforce who can provide the best possible outcomes to the children, young people and families that they work with.
The post holder will work in partnership with other colleagues in the OD to field OD related questions, support the process for OD event promotion and marketing, review and monitor the viability of OD activity on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The role will be expected to review the effectiveness of any activities, which will include working with colleagues to make any necessary changes or adjustments to future activities. The Adult Social Care Division exists to promote the independence, inclusion and well-being of all adults with social care needs. It aims to do this by enabling people to:

Undertaking statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, other legislation and guidance relating to customers and carers and maintaining professional registration
Overseeing a duty role as necessary and prioritising level of intervention (including allocating initial assessments to social care staff) as appropriate
