Job description
Family Support Teams

Work in this team is about helping people work out what matters to them and then helping them achieve their goals. Workers here are able to be kind, consistent and focussed in their work with children, young people and families.
We are aiming workers in this team work with a maximum of 20 – 22 children at any one time, but this may be less depending on the complexity of the work. There are family aides (workers who offer practical support), social care officers and business support to help with the work in this team. Workers in this team must be able to travel to the Vale as needed, and be based in the Docks Office.
