Job Description – Be a first point of contact for enquiries regarding DoLS by telephone or email. Deal quickly and efficiently with referrals and general enquiries. Communicate effectively with those people who access or need the service, mainly providers, but also on occasion, colleagues, customers, carers, friends and family members. Carry out related administration tasks associated with customer enquiries e.g. type documents, such as standard letters, input/update spreadsheets, despatch post or e-mail information to customers following an enquiry, updating and maintaining Mosaic.
Ensure correspondence is uploaded correctly on the Mosaic system and queries are passed to the appropriate colleagues where needed; and keep accurate records of customer enquiries handling all confidential data is stored and distributed in accordance with statutory duties. Send requests and enter services received in the ‘One Way to Buy’ recording system, under supervision of and authorisation by the budget manager. Deal with queries relating to payments by involving the dedicated payment team.
Report any allegation or suspicions of abuse or potential abuse of a vulnerable person to a registered practitioner or manager. As a member of our team, you will be working alongside Social Workers and other partners, agencies, and the voluntary sector to support children and their families in the community. Cardiff Children’s Service provides training to ensure competence and professional development. We will ensure that you receive a full induction and monthly supervision.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join the Construction, Maintenance and Facilities Management (CMFM) department within the Place Directorate of Enfield Council; a directorate with wide ranging responsibilities for a £1bn+ portfolio of assets, including commercial, industrial, retail, office, cultural and leisure, plus significant future development and regeneration opportunities.
The newly created post of FM Security Manager will be responsible for all aspects of building security across the Council’s corporate estate, including the Council’s headquarters at The Civic Centre and its various hub offices which together provide modern office accommodation to over 3000 employees. Essential:
- Proven experience to lead, engage, motivate, appraise and develop staff to deliver high standards of service and performance

• Liaising with external and voluntary sector partners on a day-day basis.
• Monitoring contracts for street marshalls and violence reduction.
