About the job:
HR & Payroll administrators are responsible for the contractual administration and payroll processing associated with new starters, leavers, contract changes, payments to employees, absence and employee claims. You will provide professional advice, guidance and information on subjects in relation to the Client’s terms and conditions, HR and Payroll Policy and procedures. Responsibilities are varied but focus on providing customer service and administration support within agreed timescales and service level agreements.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Undertake a full range of HR and Payroll & Pensions transactions
• Payroll processing to ensure all payments to the Clients employees are paid correctly and on the specified date
• Process expenses and claims accurately and on the specified date
• Ability to work out manual calculations
• Administer statutory and non-statutory deductions in accordance with the relevant bodies e.g HMRC, Pensions Authority.
• Issue contractual documentation associated with new appointments, contract changes and leavers
• Process all leavers, new starters and contract changes in lines the Client’s HR policies.
• Process 3rd party requests such as employment checks, mortgage reference requests
• Assist the Payroll Control Team with checking exception reports to ensure payroll, accuracy
• To have a high level of attention to detail to ensure errors and minimised
• Participate in in dealing with customer payroll enquiries as directed
• Promote and demonstrate excellent customer service.
• Ensure all procedures and processes comply with employment policies, data protection, legislation, diversity issues and best practice
• Actively participate in a culture of continuous improvement/ change within and across the teams, seeking to improve services, performance, data and stakeholder feedback.
• Complete work activities and tasks in line with service level expectations, flagging any risks to delivery as early as possible with the HR Manager.

Development of new Family Hubs
Haringey are looking for someone that has excellent stakeholder management skills, evidence track record of successfully scoping and leading on the delivery of programmes/projects and has worked within large public sector organisation preferably within a children setting.
The role is to lead and support senior managers to develop the new Family Hubs in Haringey which will include:
• setting out the vision for providing families with the integrated support they need to care for their children from conception, throughout the early years, and into the start of adulthood. Main Purpose of the Job/Key Objectives:
The post holder will deliver a high quality and comprehensive Financial Inclusion service to Havering residents in order to reduce financial exclusion in our neighbourhoods.
Through your work you will;

Key objectives
To deliver specialist advice in all aspects of financial inclusion and household budgeting with a view to maximising tenants’ income and empowering them to become financially included.
Work closely with colleagues across the Income team to maximise rental income and reduce rent arrears and other housing debt.
Accept referrals from colleagues and liaise with Arrears Prevention & Recovery Officers on arrears cases to sustain tenancies wherever possible.
Provide detailed casework, with direct involvement in advising residents, taking on and managing cases.
To provide intensive support to new residents by contacting, advising, training and ensuring every new resident understands the importance of managing their tenancy and has the best possible chance of tenancy sustainment.
Assist residents who are experiencing fuel poverty to access low cost tariffs from utility providers.
Carry out benefit entitlement checks and assist with or complete application or change of circumstance forms on behalf of Havering residents.
To approach and apply to local charities for financial assistance on behalf of residents when appropriate.
Assist with designing and delivering financial capability training courses, briefing sessions and surgeries on money management skills and all other aspects of financial inclusion.
Maintain an up to date working knowledge of existing and new welfare benefit and housing legislation in order to support colleagues working with residents with complex and challenging needs.
Provide budgeting support and facilitate digital inclusion to help people manage their money better and anticipate changes to frequency of payments with the continued roll-out of Universal Credit.
Work closely with Havering Works and other internal and external partners to help residents move from unemployment into or low paid work to sustainable and fulfilling employment.
Identify residents that are experiencing difficulty in paying their rent as a result of a shortfall in a housing benefit and assist them with or complete Discretionary Housing Payment applications on their behalf.
Provide outreach and home visits to residents.
Utilise the full range of communication techniques in dealing with residents.
Keep full, detailed and accurate records of all contact with residents and ensure the computer system is updated with details of rent arears actions.
Work proactively to identify residents at risk of falling into arrears and provide tailored advice, guidance and support to prevent this from happening.
Identify tenant vulnerabilities and risks and signpost as appropriate.
Use existing knowledge about our tenants and respond to new information and circumstances to ensure that vulnerable tenants and other high-risk groups are appropriately supported.
Ensure that every resident has sufficient access to financial services and their basic needs are met.
Work closely with the Arrears Prevention & Recovery and Court Officers to conduct pre-court assessments, ensuring that the Council has done all that it can to avoid litigation and has complied with its duties under the Pre Action Protocol for Social Landlords.
Demonstrate empathy, build rapport and an understanding with customers and recognise and appeal to tenant behavioural drivers.
Provide regular reports on rent arrears cases to the Arrears Prevention & Recovery Officer.
Document the impact of any project in Financial Inclusion and disseminate any findings.
Work in partnership across the housing directorate, being flexible over tasks and responsibilities to ensure the best customer service to tenants.
Conduct peer training and support the Council’s aim to promote a rent first culture throughout the housing directorate.
Assist the management team in compiling responses to complaints and Member’s enquiries.

The person will need to be in West Sussex at the start of their shift and ready to work.
About the job
As part of this new service you will have support from the Service Manager and Hub Team Manager. Regular individual and peer supervision, commissioned specialist training will be available to enable you to maintain your knowledge and remain aware of any changes in legislation to enhance your practice.
The Hub consists of a Team Manager and two Hub AMHPs who work 9am-5pm and eight Hub AMHPs who work on a rolling rota, over a 24hr period. Shifts will typically be early and late.
You will be expected to work closely alongside colleagues in Crisis Teams, general acute hospitals, Sussex Police, South East Coast Ambulance service (SECAMB) and acute in-patient units.
You will be expected to work within organisational, policy and legislative requirements. You will be required to work within the Standard Operational Procedures Policies and Processes.
What you’ll need to succeed
You must be able to work autonomously and have extensive experience of delivering effective, efficient and high-quality social work interventions to promote positive change, independence and wellbeing when working with service users, carers and families.
You will be able to work effectively under pressure, managing the competing demands of a busy service. You will be able to demonstrate robust and clinically sound triage skills using risk management and assessment models.
You will be expected to allocate work based on urgency, risk, and priority in negotiation with other agencies and partners.

Job Purpose:
To be responsible for providing a Clean and Clear service to Council estates and communal areas including housing land in and around City of Cardiff.
This will include the reporting of repairs, fly tipping and anti-social behaviour issues on a daily basis.
Also to engage with the community at localised events to provide support for removal of rubbish and overgrown areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
Job Specific Requirements
- To deliver a high quality clean and clear service taking responsibility for specific tasks and to collect evidence and issue penalty notices.
- To contribute to community engagement events to actively support the community and encourage residents to participate in maintaining their community.
- To undertake all duties in line with service area and corporate policies and procedures.
- Ensure that regular workplace risk assessments of areas and tasks are carried out and any council vehicle is driven and maintained in accordance with the council’s health and safety policy and the relevant procedures.
- Report repairs and monitor the condition of communal areas including housing land and other housing stock, ensuring any Asbestos disturbance is reported in line with Cardiff Councils Asbestos Management Policies and procedures.
- To undertake the clearance of properties, gardens and communal areas utilising appropriate plant and equipment as necessary.
- Ensure that on all work completed, observations are made or that complaints received are logged on the associated database.
- Liaise daily with appropriate Local Action Supervisor, reporting on issues arising.
- Ensure the completion of work to the specified daily/weekly targets are met in line with key performance indicators and service level agreements to ensure the provision of service to the highest standard.
- To contribute as a member of the Local Action Team and support /mentor apprentices as required.
- To practically assist in the operation and development of any Quality systems adopted by the service area.
- To support the application of current and emerging technology.
- To undergo necessary training and coaching and achieve NVQ certification.
- To practically participate in any quality systems adopted by the service area.
- To participate in supporting the principles and practice of equality of opportunity as laid down in the organization’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
